American Period Furniture
The journal runs at least a hundred pages of original editorial each year — long-form articles on tools, techniques, design, and the history of the craft and its makers. Printed in the United States on durable gloss paper, intended to live on the bench shelf and be pulled down ten years later.
Edited by Robert W. Lang. Articles come from members — experienced makers, conservators, historians — who don't need to be experienced authors. The editor's standing offer is to make producing an article as easy as possible for someone with knowledge to share.
Twenty-five volumes and counting.
